Apricot Kernel Shell
High-calorific, eco-friendly natural biomass fuel and versatile industrial raw material derived from Malatya apricots. Ideal for sandblasting, activated carbon, cosmetic exfoliation, and green energy.
Product Overview
Apricot kernel shell is a 100% natural, renewable, and sustainable industrial raw material produced by crushing and screening the hard outer pit of premium Malatya apricots. With high net calorific value (~4,800 kcal/kg), low moisture (<10%), and ultra-low ash (<1.5%), it serves as an exceptional green alternative to fossil fuels.
With a hardness rating of 3.5 Mohs, it is globally preferred as an eco-friendly soft blasting abrasive that effectively cleans turbine blades, engine parts, automotive molds, and delicate metals without surface etching. Its micro-porous lignocellulosic structure also makes it a premium precursor for activated carbon production.
