What's the difference between bitter and sweet apricot kernels?

Bitter apricot kernels contain amygdalin (Vitamin B17) and have a distinct bitter taste. They are commonly used for their health properties. Sweet kernels have an almond-like flavor, are low in amygdalin, and are often consumed as a snack or used in food products.

Are your organic products truly certified?

Yes, absolutely. Our organic products are certified by EU Organic and USDA Organic standards. We maintain strict separation between organic and conventional production lines and provide certification documents with every shipment.

How do you ensure product quality?

Every batch undergoes rigorous laboratory testing for aflatoxin, pesticide residues, heavy metals, and moisture content. We maintain ISO 22000 and HACCP certifications and provide full traceability from farm to export.

What is the shelf life of apricot kernels?

When stored properly in a cool, dry place, our vacuum-packed kernels have a shelf life of 12-18 months. Bulk packaging typically has a 12-month shelf life. We provide detailed storage instructions with each order.

Ordering & Pricing

What is your minimum order quantity?

Our standard minimum order quantity is 1 ton for export orders. However, for new customers, we can arrange sample orders (5-10kg) for quality verification before placing bulk orders.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing depends on several factors including product type (organic/conventional, bitter/sweet), order quantity, packaging requirements, and delivery terms (FOB, CIF, EXW). Contact us for a customized quote based on your specific needs.

What payment terms do you offer?

We typically work with Letter of Credit (L/C) for new customers and can offer T/T (telegraphic transfer) terms for established partners. Payment terms are negotiable based on order size and relationship history.

Can I request product samples before ordering?

Yes, we provide samples for quality evaluation. Sample costs and shipping are typically charged, but can be deducted from your first bulk order. Samples are usually sent via air courier and arrive within 3-5 business days.

Shipping & Delivery

Which countries do you ship to?

We export to over 50 countries worldwide including USA, Germany, UK, UAE, Russia, Spain, France, Netherlands, and many more. We have experience with customs procedures for all major markets.

How long does shipping take?

Sea freight typically takes 2-6 weeks depending on destination. Air freight takes 3-7 days. Road transport to European countries takes 7-14 days. We provide tracking information and shipping documents for all orders.

What shipping terms do you offer?

We offer FOB (Free On Board), CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight), and EXW (Ex Works) terms. We can also arrange door-to-door delivery for specific markets. Our logistics team will recommend the best option for your location.

What packaging options are available?

We offer 25kg/50kg polypropylene or jute bags, 5kg/10kg/12.5kg vacuum packs in cartons, 1000kg big bags, and custom retail-ready packaging (250g-1kg). All packaging meets international food safety standards.

What certifications do you have?

We hold EU Organic, USDA Organic, ISO 22000, HACCP, Halal, and Kosher certifications. All certificates are renewed annually and we provide copies with every shipment.

Can I verify your certifications?

Absolutely. We provide authenticated copies of all certificates with our quotes. You can also verify our certifications directly with the issuing bodies. We welcome factory audits from customers or third-party inspectors.

What documents do you provide with shipments?

We provide Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, Health Certificate, organic certificates (if applicable), laboratory analysis reports, and any other documents required by your customs.

How long have you been in business?

We have been exporting apricot kernels for over 20 years. Our facility in Malatya has been operating since 2005, and we work with a network of over 500 local farmers.

Can I visit your facility?

Yes, we welcome visits from our business partners! We can arrange factory tours to show our processing lines, quality control lab, and storage facilities. Please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance to schedule your visit.
